How has Microsoft brought a change to the society?

           During old times, there were lots of manual works to do, also there were no other way of communications around the world except phones. But ever since Computers has been invented, works have become simpler. But then the operating system Linux made itself difficult to handle with   as it was confusing. Then, Bill Gates and Paul Allen founded Microsoft on April 4, 1975, which was the greatest invention in the era of computer technology. Since 1990s, it has increasingly improved in the operating system market. The first OS which was launched by Microsoft was MS-DOS but it had its drawbacks(it doesn’t supports Graphical User Interface).Then Microsoft launched many of its operating systems like windows 92,windows 95,windows XP ,windows vista, windows 7.Recently,it has launched windows 8 which is so different from MS-DOS. Since all the operating systems of Microsoft are user friendly unlike the OS of other companies, it is globally used and has a very good impact worldwide. Hence, Microsoft can be called “the king of all operating systems” existing today

          When I was in class two, my father gifted a computer to my brother. I was not allowed to operate it since I was very notorious. Whenever the computer started , I used to gaze continuously on the symbol of windows, which made me attracted towards it. I used to think how this colourful symbol appears whenever the computer started. I got my answer from my elder brother who explained me about that symbol and it was the first time I heard the word “MICROSOFT” founded by “BILL GATES”  , since then I am hearing this name. And hence my ultimate desire to be a part of MICROSOFT was born. I was very much Interested in painting, then my elder brother said that we can paint in computer also. Hearing this I was surprised but excitement overpowered my surprise.

That time, I never knew about any massively brushed up OS , being used to power up the paint program.  All I knew was I felt good, drawing things over a computer screen, quite similar to the way I loved to draw and paint on a piece of paper that  would have been eventually spoiled and MS-paint would keep my masterpieces safe and intact as long as I wanted it. That happiness I owned! I owe that to Microsoft. And then, came those MS Power point presentations which help me to present in my college, whether be it a humanity lab, or be it a project in any of the subject, I prefer to use the power point for the presentation. Microsoft word, MS-OFFICE etc. are used every day by the people. A son of wood cutter can only understand the pain of hardwork and so did he! He is not only a founder of Microsoft but also a true inspiration to us.

DREAMSPARK YATRA: DRIVING WIDESPREAD ENTHUSIASM.

What is Dreamspark Yatra?

Dreamspark is a Microsoft program to provide students with software design and development tools at no charge. So that students can chase their dreams and create the next big breakthrough in technology.

We all know privacy is important to us. But, the privacy which we want is not provided to us.Microsoft  has committed to protect our privacy and it has been fulfilled by Dreamspark.
It collect many kinds of information in order to operate effectively and provide us the best product and services.

Use of Dreamspark Yatra.

Accessibility makes it easier for anyone to see, hear, and use a computer and to personalize to meet there own needs and preferences. For instance, if someone is dyslexic, they can use the screen magnifier in windows 7 while working on a computer. The yatra also help students gain access to Microsoft’s other academic initiative like Imagine cup.

Today if anyone hears the word “MICROSOFT” has a smile on his or her face and feel proud of BILL GATES. As the time is moving on, the needs and wants of people is increasing day by day. And by launching the “DREAMSPARK YATRA” Microsoft fulfilled the desire of people.

                                       

       

       

  MY MSA STRATEGIES:

•                 I will look for the arrangements and will make sure that every single student can be a part of this event.
•                  I will conduct various competitions , so that they can gain information about the upcoming technologies.
•                  Will make them aware through pamphlets and will make them understand about it
•          I will conduct seminars in our college to make students aware about the technologies.
•           Will provide them a feedback so that I can get to know about their thought.

We know “power is gained by sharing knowledge and by hoarding it. That’s like a miracle, the more we share the more we induce.” This is something that I have learned ever since I learned to handle myself.

I have done my job by sharing this , when will you do?

By doing this it gave me an honor and a sense of responsibility.

I will try my best to work hard on this and to prove myself in his context.
